If there’s anything that the experiences of the last few years have taught us, it’s the importance of spending time with those who are precious to us. Our new collection of Scottish properties - developed in partnership with the Susan Reid Collection - is proof that you don’t need to go to the ends of the earth to find some very special hideways. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, special anniversary or just an excuse to get friends or extended family together, the ONEE portfolio now features some real Scottish gems. Choose from a range of properties including a retreat on the banks of Loch Lomond, a St Andrews estate and a Perthshire mansion house - here are a few of the highlights.
Translated as ‘beautiful hill fort’, Dun Aluinn is a classic Scottish villa property, sleeping up to 18 people in 9 bedrooms, set on a private 5.5 acre estate overlooking the Highland town of Aberfeldy. With exceptional interior design throughout, combining pieces from luxury contemporary designers with original features such as wood panelling and open fires, it also boasts a cinema room and cedar hot tub. For larger parties, there is a nearby Lodge which can accommodate an additional 8 guests, bringing total numbers to 26. Ideal for a large family get together, small wedding celebration or special birthday or anniversary, it has the proportions of a country house and comes complete with a Host, Housekeeping and Chef.
On the banks of Loch Tay, Stucktaymore is a spacious property sleeping up to 29 guests, with rolling lawns, breathtaking Loch views and various lounge areas, for everyone to relax. With a library, snug, huge dining room, media and entertainment room and large luxury kitchen and breakfast room there is plenty of space inside to keep everyone happy - whilst outside, there are firepits in the woodland, a seven-seater hot tub overlooking the Loch and a great choice of activities on and around the Loch, from hiking to sailing and watersports. A chef and housekeeper can be arranged on request.
Hawkswood Country Estate, just outside St Andrews, is ideal for golfers and families alike. Featuring three separate properties, which can be rented individually or all together - Hawkswood House, The Roundel and Bowhill - there is potential capacity for up to 30 people. Each is spacious and stylish, with expansive lounge areas with wood burners and luxurious en suite bedrooms. Given the proximity to the course at St Andrews, Hawkswood is particularly popular for golfers - and each property has their own private short game area and all have access to a private driving range. Additional facilities include a Hydro Spa, private catering options and a fabulous outdoor patio area.
