Travel has always been a driving passion for our CEO, Onur Takmak. Having lived and worked in Istanbul, New York, Switzerland and London and travelled all over the world, most of his lasting memories come from his adventures overseas. He strongly believes that seeing different cultures and ways of life, as well as experiencing environments elevates our own sense of curiosity and happiness and with that comes lifelong memories. ONEE Luxury Travel was born out of this passion.
Onur spent a great deal of time looking at how B2B villa and property rental markets work across the globe and through this and his extensive commercial experience identified the need to consolidate and facilitate key elements of the process and create a streamlined, automated system that works equally well for the travel trade and property suppliers. Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Onur Takmak is the founder of ONEE Travel. A huge travel enthusiast, Onur conceived the idea of ONEE Travel in 2018, whilst at the time heading Rhea Capital, a venture capital investment trust. Having worked and lived in Istanbul, New York, Switzerland and London, and holding a MiF and CFA, Onur has an established reputation in investment management. However, his real passion has always been in travel and his passion for adventure was the driving factor for founding ONEE. As a travel enthusiast, Onur believes that your best holiday is always around the corner, and that inspiring locations and thought-provoking design make for an unforgettable experience.
Chief Financial Officer
Raj joined ONEE in May 2020 as the Company’s Finance Manager having worked within the travel industry for over fourteen years and working as an Accountant for over seventeen years. Raj has worked for small, medium and large sized travel companies who specialise in package travel holidays and luxury tailormade packages and is well versed with the day to day challenges that travel companies face. Raj enjoys spending time with the family and very much enjoys travelling and films.
Product & Partnership Director
Iain joined ONEE Luxury Travel as Product & Partnership Director in July 2021. Iain has operated within the UK outbound travel industry for 25 years specialising in the aviation, travel technology and luxury leisure travel sectors. Iain’s particular expertise lies in the field of product, purchasing, destination and contract management for private villas, private yachts, hotels, airlines and destination management companies. Iain’s favourite destinations to visit are those that allow for a mixed beach and culture experience but occasionally run under the radar like Oman, Malaysia, New Zealand and Seychelles. He holds a strong belief that the best business partnerships are based on solid personal relationships aligned with trust that we are all pulling in the same direction of travelling being paramount to our wellbeing.
Head of Sales
Tom joined ONEE Luxury Travel in April 2022 as Head of Sales to create strong relationships with our travel trade partners in the UK. He brings with him 10 years sales experience within luxury travel, including 6 years with Gold Medal, 2 years with Destinology and most recently before joining ONEE he was Global Account Manager for Privadia, a B2B luxury villa business in the UK. Tom is the ONEE key contact for all trade partnership enquiries.
Product & Partnership Manager
As Product & Partnership Manager at ONEE Luxury Travel, Zoë is responsible for strategy & execution of new partnerships and product for ONEE. Working with some of the world’s most reputable luxury property managers globally, Zoë has 7 years of experience in the luxury travel sector, and is always on the lookout for new vacation rental properties that will inspire the most discerning members of the travel trade and bridge the gap between adventure, comfort & design.
Product & Partnership Manager
Bringing with her 23 years’ worth of travel industry experience, Susan (known as Suzie) began her career in tailor-made reservations for a well-known UK tour operator where she worked within various departments. She then moved on to a luxury tour operator working within the marketing department for seven years. Susan soon progressed to the position of Product & Commercial Manager specialising in Arabian and Indian Ocean destinations, before joining ONEE in Septemeber 2021 as Product & Partnership Manager. Susan considers herself fortunate to have travelled to many stunning destinations around the globe. Experiences gained have allowed her to share her knowledge with colleagues and clients whilst developing her career at the same time.
Product & Partnership Executive
A professional within the travel industry for 15 years, Katrina (known as Kat) began her career for the same well-known tour operator as Susan but has spent the previous 9 years working in the luxury sector. Travel has always been in Katrina’s blood, and from her childhood she always harboured hopes of working in the industry – or with animals which is her other passion! Katrina began her journey operating as a ground product executive, prior to gaining experience in various different roles before joining ONEE in September 2021 as Product Administration Executive. Katrina posseses a unique talent for managing administration, and also adds extensive global product knowledge to her role from her experiences travelling around the world.
